What To Expect
You devote time to interviewing only the most qualified available candidates, because we screen our candidates much more thoroughly than a typical search firm can. We understand our niche in depth, so we know how to go beneath the “resume layer” and understand our candidates’ skillsets. We have often met the candidate we are representing in person or via video conference, providing a deeper understanding of our candidates’ motivations, values, and communication styles. Whenever possible, we visit your site personally to enhance our ability to represent the options you offer. We provide honest feedback at every step of the process about a candidate’s level of interest in your opportunity.
We are in the relationship business, not the placement business. We know how to spot quality and are in a constant process of networking with the established leaders and upcoming talent in our field. Retainer vs. Contingency Fees
In general DSA prefers contingency to retained search. If your organization has a strong desire to work on retainer we can discuss the possibility. DSA typically agrees to retained search only with well-established clients with whom we have a track record of success on contingency assignments. We are not a “discount fee” firm, and our contingency fees are consistent with the quality of our service. We offer a reduction in our fee once your organization has decided to entrust DSA as the exclusive recruiting resource for an IT Assurance search. Please contact your recruiting representative at DSA to discuss a specific fee arrangement.
